UPDATE 2-Bayer sweetens Monsanto bid as talks enter final stretch

Sept 5 (Reuters) - German pharmaceutical and crops

manufacturer Bayer AG said on Monday that its

negotiations with Monsanto Co had advanced, and it was

now willing to offer more than $65 billion to acquire the

world's largest seed company.
