South Africa's Tutu undergoes successful surgery to treat infections

CAPE TOWN, Sept 7 (Reuters) - South African cleric and

anti-apartheid icon Desmond Tutu has had successful surgery to

treat recurring infections that have afflicted him for more than

a year, his family said on Wednesday.
